Match / Deposit bonuses are those that are most commonly offered by online casinos. There are a number of reasons but one of the main reasons these types of bonuses are so popular with online casinos is associated with the fact that they are far less susceptible to bonus abuse by players then that of say a no deposit bonus where players can take advantage of and abuse online casinos, hence why they're far less popular and also generally much smaller bonuses (ie. 10 or 20 max no deposit bonuses). Match bonuses work by matching your bonus using a deposit match percentage. This percentage can be 50%, 100%, 200%, 500% and we've even seen casinos running promotions for match bonus offers in the past that go as high as 1000% (note: typically bonuses that go very high (ie. 1000%) are only eligible for play on slots games, scratch card, keno or other lottery type games. The most common among deposit bonuses is the 100% match bonus. So you may be wondering what this percentage value means. Well let's take a 100% match bonus for example which has a maximum matching amount of $100. In this case if you were to deposit $100 the casino would match your deposit and you'd have an initial bankroll at the casino of $200 to play with. Same goes for a 200% match bonus and all other percentage based match bonuses.

o This would mean that if you were to deposit $100 the casino would give you an additional $50 to play with for a total bankroll of $150 to play with.
• 200% match bonus up to $400
o This would mean that if you were to deposit $400 the casino would give you an additional $400 to play with for a total bankroll of $800 to play with.
• 400% match bonus up to $4000
o This would mean that if you were to deposit $1000 the casino would give you an additional $3000 to play with for a total bankroll of $4000 to play with.
Other Things to Remember with Match / Deposit Bonuses:
• Typically all bonuses are subject to wagering requirements as stipulated by the casinos risk management department. You should always be aware of these wagering requirements before accepting a bonus from a casino as they are subject to certain restrictions.
• To be eligible for most bonuses there is usually a minimum deposit required. The amount is very low typically (ie. $20 - $30) required to be deposited in order to claim the bonus.
